Leading names from international basketball will headline a three-day coaches clinic taking place during the final weekend (5-7 July) of the FIBA U19 World Championship in Prague, Czech Republic (27 June-7 July).
Zeljko Obradovic - who led Yugoslavia to gold medals at the 1998 FIBA World Championship and 1997 EuroBasket and also has eight Euroleague titles to his name - headlines the group of illustrious coaches who will pass on their knowledge to participants of the clinic.
Obradovic is joined by his longtime assistant at Panathinaikos, Dimitris Itoudis, as well as by former Lithuania national team boss Kestusis Kemzura, current Israel national team play caller Arik Shivek, Caja Laboral's coach Zan Tabak and Torsten Loibl, the Sports Director of the Japanese Basketball Association (JBA).
The six clinics and accompanying practical demonstrations will be held in Podvinny Mlyn Arena on the mornings of Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July. Afterwards, participants will have the chance to catch Final Round (Quarter-Finals to Finals) action of the FIBA U19 World Championship at the nearby O2 Arena.
The price to attend the clinic is 160 Euro. Participants who register and pay prior to 20 June 2013 will get a special rate of 120 Euro.
The package includes six lectures, three lunches, small FIBA U19 World Championship memorabilia and passes to all Final Round games.
